When you search for a Honda Odyssey part, the model name alone may not tell you enough.

The Honda Odyssey is a particularly good example of why automotive fitment can be complicated. Chinese-market documentation identifies K24W-series engine applications, including the K24W5.

A dangerous assumption would be:

"RC Odyssey = RC1/RC2/RC3/RC4 are interchangeable."

They are not automatically interchangeable.

Market, drivetrain, engine specification, production period, and OEM part number must all be considered.

The fifth-generation Odyssey also introduced important changes to the chassis and suspension packaging.

The North American model followed a separate RL-series development path:

RL → RL1 → RL3/RL4 → RL5 → RL6
